Eastside Hockey Manager, 2010/2011 Sim Game
Thanks for joining our league, the following are a set of rules that mus be followed at all times. Please read through them carefully and if you have any questions message me or CGY GM.
General Rules:
1. New members or guests must apply to be a GM by posting in the GM list thread. This will be reviewed by the commissioners.
1. Each GM will receive 1, and only one team. Anyone caught managing more than one team will be banned. No exceptions.
2. GM's must be active, it is expected that each GM is regularly checking the site, their team and league news. Inactivity cannot and will not be tolerated for the good of the league.
Trading:
1. Trading may be done through PM, chats, skype or another form of communication. All negotiations should be private but not necessary.
2. Trades must be posted in the Trades Section and confirmed by BOTH parties involved.
3. If a trade puts one team over the cap it will be declined.
4. Trades must be posted using the following method:
To Team A (eg. Pittsburgh):
Player's Full Name (eg. Jordan Staal)
Draft Pick Full Name (eg. PIT 2011 1st Round)
To Team B (eg. Edmonton):
Players Full Name (eg. Taylor Hall)
Draft Pick Full Name (eg. EDM 2012 4th Round)
4. Trades will then be reviewed by the commissioners and accepted or declined with an explanation if declined.
5. Post your Trade Block in the Trade Block thread
Waivers:
1. A team may wish to send a player with a 1-way contract to the minors and therefore the player must be placed on waivers. The player must pass through 12 hours of waivers before being assigned to the farm team. After 12 hours the team ranked lowest in the standings among those who made a claim receive the player. A GM may also want to place a player on waivers to see if a team will take him. They do not need to send the player to the minors if they pass.
NTC/NMC's:
1. These clauses will not be utilized in the league as it creates too many variables to keep track of.
2. UFA/RFA Signings:
1. The UFA signing period will be from the end of the stanley cup playoffs until the trade deadline.
2. RFA signings for a player already on a team may happen anytime in the final year of the players contract.
3. All offers must be submitted to the assigned Player Agents.
4. Once a UFA is signed he may NOT be traded for 30 days.
Salary Cap:
1. The cap is 65 million dollars which is more than enough.
2. With respect to free agent signings you have 24 hours to be cap compliant once a player signs with your team or you will be suspended. A commissioner will modify your roster to be compliant which could mean players being placed on waivers.
3. Salary cap status must be placed in your team thread labeled "Cap" using CAPGEEK.COM
